 Dogs with the correct temperament are trained in Agility and Schutzhund. Our members range from beginners to national competitors. We train on Saturday, Sunday and weekday evenings unless otherwise informed.
Those interested are encouraged to visit and join us for training; visitors and spectators are always welcomed to check out our training.
JWDC members are committed to promoting and preserving the true working chracter & temperament of our working breeds by participating in working dog sports.
Schutzhund is a sport requiring teamwork - both dog and handler must function as a team. Our goal and training philosophy is to teach both dog and handler to work together, each with its own respoinsibilities as a team member.
As a club, we function through teamwork and as a member of our club, we expect you to learn through observation and active participation. We will guide you in training. No one is an expert - some of us have more experience that others, but even the experienced can gain new insight and knowledge.
