Mr Yap
"Ah Yap" as he is affectionally known, is the co-founder of the Club and current Chairman. A busy man but dedicated to training and club matters none the less. We have seen him perform amazing stuff when training dogs, the stuff of legends and we never get tired of telling "the" story. Always corteous and down to earth. He is one of the current training helpers of JWDC.
Peter Kong
Peter Kong is the co-founder of Johor Working Dog Club and current Training Director who has graciously offered his training ground for the Club's training activities. He has been keeping dogs as his pets and dog training from a very young age. He is fascinated by all sorts of animals, from snakes to birds to monkeys. He is highly regarded as one of the best trainers in Malaysia and also for his hospitality. Never one to reject any visitors and always throws a party when a bunch of us gets together with him. Occasionally, Peter does training helper work for the club, due to his bad back, he has passed the baton now to his son (Hao).
Francis Wong
Francis is also affectionaly known as "Lau eh", literally translating to "The Old One", every once in a while. He was once among the top breeders of Bullmastiffs in Malaysia but has now focused his efforts in training Malinois. Owning one of the top locally bred and trained Malinois, we hope to see great things from him and his dog in future.
Casey Teng
More popularly known as "Yao", he is one of the current training helpers in JWDC and Treasurer of the Club. Resourceful and a quick learner, with a Chi Hua Hua for his agility dog. We are keeping our fingers crossed that he will continue to stick with working dogs.
Aaron Kong
To the dog training fraternity in Malaysia, Aaron is known as "Hao". Trained by his father, Peter, and the rest of JWDC, he is the youngest dog handler and arguably one of the best training helpers in Malaysia. Michiveous to say the least, but exudes the necessary maturity, feeling and a keen eye for dog training.
